The Sandbox is one of a kind here in Tucson my children have excelled being there. They are learning art, music, science, reading, and writing. My four year old can now write his name and read small words all of my children have learned some Spanish and sign language. While there I have a three year old who has become a puzzle wiz and my two year old has learned how to use a mouse on the computer. I had tried many daycares before discovering the sandbox and would not take my children anywhere else. The center has a preschool area with an art room, music room, computer room, and class rooms it has two giant outdoor play areas and a swimming pool for the summer. they also have a pre-k and after school in a different area this has an art studio, rock climbing area, and much more there is a pool for summer play on this side as well. My kids have a great time there while learning ahead of the curve i couldn’t be happier anywhere else. I love the Sandbox !!!!!

Our sons have been Sandbox kids since they were a year old and have flourished in an incredibly nourishing environment. My wife and I had looked around for day care centers when our first was an infant with little success. The Sandbox was the only place that gave us a tour and when asked, showed us their curriculum. The staff is very knowledgeable and nurturing to all children. My son's have become incredible "little" people due to the environment they play in. They get a great head start when they start elementary school.
Our first is now in kindergarten and is excelling in his classroom but is not, by far, a nerd. He has great social skills and is an all-around nice kid.
Our youngest is the entertainer of the bunch and The Sandbox has brought out that aspect of his personality. The administrator would sometimes observe the classrooms with him in tow. Everyone knows him!
The Sandbox is the ONLY place to enroll your children if you seek a quality care center as well as an excellent education.

My daycare search was so overwhelming, but the day I walked into the sandbox the staff there took me on a tour let my son interact with the other children in order to introduce him to the environment. My son loves going there, he loves all his teachers and all the friends he has made. Aside from watching my son while I'm at work they also show lots of TLC, they provide an awesome curriculm and activites. He even has a music class, art class, and computer class. The Sandbox has a baby pool for the kids so in the summer they go swimming with American Red Cross Lifeguards. The teachers and staff there are amazing, they are very dedicated and truly love the kids and look out for each of their well beings. Having the sandbox has taken great weight off my shoulders, I can go to work and not worry about if my son is ok or if he is doing ok. Because they know my son as much as I do and when he seems different or is starting to look or feel ill they never hesitate to contact me, and I truly appreciate that. Needless to say I love the Sandbox!

I came across the sandbox a few years ago while looking for a summer program for both of my little girls... at the time i had one school age and the other was around one or so.... I was amazed by the structure of the summer program so i enrolled my youngest. I was unable to enroll my oldest daughter as they were completely full.. once school started my oldest started going for after school... the Sandbox picks up at my daughters school (whitmore). The great thing about the Sandbox is that they have two separate sides... as my daughters refer to it... The baby side.. and the big kid side... both sides are amazing... during the school year the kids have structured schedules that include music art computers etc... never a dull day...

the grounds are beautiful... both sides having their own play areas and even pools... the big kid side even has an indoor rock climbing wall for those rainy days.... the whole school puts on two performances a year... one for Christmas and the other before summer...

The summer program is amazing... the kids go swimming daily and several field trips per week movies, skating, bowling, ft lowell pool (older kids),.... they have gone to chuck e cheese, celebrate, zoo.

my girls come home exhausted... the teachers are amazing they really work with your kids and develop personal relationships with the kids. they always keep me updated and really keep me involved with what is going on at the school. I continue to refer to them as a school and not a daycare and that's because it truly is a school. They don't just watch your kids while your at work they teach them.

I wouldn't take my girls anywhere else and i am so lucky i found the place. You def won't be disappointed.

The Sandbox is the only place i will take my three kids. i have a four year old who can write his own name a three year old who has become a puzzle wiz and a two year old who can use a maouse on a computer. i have tried other daycare is tucson before finding the Sandbox and it was a nightmare. if you are looking for daycare or feel your kids could do better somewheree else. jsut go in and take a tour you will be amazed by what they offer.
